This app gives you access to our schedule, classes, easy and quick communications and helps you learn about and stay in touch with us. Stage Door Studios has designed an excellent dance and theater program of activities to give children a chance to experience the joy of dancing and creative movement in a fun and loving atmosphere. We are committed to providing a stimulation and adventurous environment to enhance children s social, emotional, physical, intellectual and creative growth. Our Sarasota dance staff will use music, props, costumes and creative movement to introduce children to the world of dance. Students will develop rhythm, coordination, musicality and creativity, as well as the ability to follow directions, interact with peers, take turns patiently and gain self-confidence. Most importantly, our classes are FUN! If your child is in third grade or above, Stage Door Studios is known as a drop-in class studio. We offer dance classes in jazz, tap, ballet, pointe, acrobatics, tumbling, modern, hip hop, theater, voice and competition dance teams. Aside from workshops and programs requiring specific courses of training, you may take classes as you wish. Once you determine your level of study, from basic dance classes and adult fitness classes to professional dance programs, you can choose a class from our schedule, then come and go with no additional fee. At all times, staff is on hand to guide you through our drop-in class schedule, and ensure that you have chosen the Sarasota dance classes that meet your needs and abilities. Our dance facility in Sarasota is clean and dancer friendly! We have sprung floors to help reduce the chance of injury to dancers' knees and ankles. Our front studio has the same flooring as the New York City ballet. We also have wooden floors to hear the crisp sounds of tap shoes! Our extensive dance and theater faculty is known and esteemed world wide for their knowledge and experience. You are sure to find a dance teacher and style that will more than meet your needs or expose you to a completely new experience.
